Details & Application Information
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Commission (RRRC) acts as the lead agency for the Foothills Housing Network (FHN), a Local Planning Group of the
Balance of State Continuum of Care.
The VISTA will support RRRC’s Human Services Program Manager to develop and implement training and policy
opportunities for the Foothills Housing Network that promote knowledge- sharing and implementation of housing-focused solutions, based on best
practices research for similar organizations. The VISTA will also support efforts by RRRC and FHN partner organizations to increase public knowledge
regarding poverty and homelessness within the region through strategic outreach efforts to FHN member organizations, other organizations with similar
missions, and to the general public.
The VISTA will work to support the Foothills Housing Network’s subcommittees (Advocacy, Governance), support FHN’s
use of data and performance metric analysis, and review the FHN central entry program to review/design data collection procedures and reporting to
recommend program adjustments with a goal advancing collaboration within FHN and increasing awareness of critical housing issues within the region.
RRRC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
